Shoot Day One: A Mix of Wins and Hurdles

After weeks of planning and preparing, today was finally the day- our first shoot for the film opening. We were excited but also really nervous. 

Setting Up & First Takes

I came early at Zoha's place to help her set everything up. By the time Ayesha arrived, the set was ready and I was in my costume. Since we had practiced camera work and lighting before, it didnt take long to get started. Once everything was in place, we began shooting. 
 

What We Learned

One of the biggest lessons we learnt today was adjust. No matter how much we plan, unexpected things happen. We had to think quickly and find solutions, which was a great experience.
