Through the Lens: How Photography Led Me to Media Studies

Photography has always been my way of capturing the beauty of the world. For me, a photograph is more than just an image; it’s a way to freeze a moment in time and share the emotions that come with it. This passion led me to choose Media Studies, where I could explore not only the art of photography but also how images shape our understanding of the world.
The photos I’ve shared here are some of my personal favorites because each picture reflects a special moment that speaks to me in a different way. Choosing Media Studies was a natural step for me, as it allows me to explore the art of visual storytelling more deeply. It’s about learning not just how to capture beautiful moments, but how to understand the power of images in shaping how we see the world.
